There have been a large number of mission critical fixes since 20.7.0. I would strongly encourage you to be on 20.7.5 at the very minimum. 2021.12.1 would be a much better choice if possible. Whatever you do, do not turn off or restart the System Director. Backup any mission critical data, be prepared to lose everything on the NEXIS.

EasyFind is the most common.

What version of NEXIS are you running? There were issues with the firmware on the SSDs that was causing them to fail prematurely. You want support to take a look at the firmware version before you do anything. Look at the commands in this KB.

Only Avid support can do this.

This is a good thread on the topic.

Launch: Start > Programs > Avid ISIS System Director > System Director Viewer. What does it say there? Launch Avid License control. What does it say?

You need something, normally a switch, connected to the 10GigE NIC.

I believe Crowd Strike Endpoint Protection is supported on the Mac with NEXIS. My experience is not only does Antivirius need to be turned off, it needs to be completley removed from Macs. MalwareBytes has worked for me.

I believe you need NEXIS | EDGE which requires Media Composer Enterprise and NEXIS Shared Storage.
