Larry, glad I could help. I’m far from being a MC expert, But I still think this feels like a bug. And although having a useable workaround I would feel safer knowing if this issue was adressed. Sorry, should have clarifief myself. I did a fresh install of windows 1803. But your post ensured me something was wrong, as (except for the hardware) I did exactly as you. Turns out it was my ASUS motherboard that bundled the audio drivers with something called ”sonic”. Apparently it has been creating problems for Premiere users as well
