There are a few threads that mention this error. Seems it could also be associated with an AUDIO plug-in. To check that you could go to application support/Avid/Audio/plug-ins - move the pplug-ins foilder to the desktop and relaunch. If the stalled launch goes away it's one of the audio plug-ins in that folder. Then it's process of elimination

Seems to be way more than just a re-skin. Many fundamental changes to the engine and of course the look. This is a significant overhaul even if some of the changes are under the hood or are geared towards those working in larger teams.. They have training class going on at Avid Connect in Vegas. Certainly feels faster to me (even multi-cam responds

I went through this too. It was my version of EuControl. You need to find EuControl 18.3.0 - I think I found this version from the Avid S6 EuCOntrol installer (not sure about that). But I'm looking at v18.3.0.244 Hope this helps

I do the same. Pro Res 4444 bakes in the "log" look and the files are easier to work with.

I’ve tried a few of the options but I really like the combination of Clog 3 and cinema Gamut. I like the color of cinema gamut.

We do AAF exports to Davinci 12.x all the time. For me the trick is to ALWAYS first go to Davinci media pool - create a new bin - and place all the media that you intend to import into the Davinci bin. Yes from within theDavinci Media Pool in youll need to go into the AviMedia Files folder to find the media and get it into a bin. Then open the AAF.

That was it ...... I totally overlooked it. Thanks

Just wondering if anyone else is seeing this. With MC7 i'm unable to use AMA to "link" to quicktime that are in DNxHD codec. These files were created with both a sound devices 240 or with the Atomos Samuari. Everything thing else links just fine. It sees the files - brings them into a bin - no video or sound on playback. This is only with

I just purchased the c100 a couple of days ago. Yesterday was my first time importing into media composer 6.5.2 it worked fine. MC auto mounted the SD card and all the clips were in a bin (via AMA). I could view the clips, edit them with only a slight delay/pause before playback starts. I could also transcode with no problems. The footage was 1080 24p
