JCFRANCE, I am thinking of buying the GTX 980 ti to use along with Avid and Premiere. Did you have to input the graphics card into the qualifiedgpuboards.txt or does your sistem have the GPU already listen? My 8.4 does not say Geforce cards. Only Quadro on PC. I don't know if I should get 980 Ti, Titan or Quadro K4200. I just want Avid to support

Does your Media Composer "recognize" the Titan GPU on startup? I am confused as to what to buy for my MC 8.4 system. Should I go with a Titan X or Quadro K4200? I mainly use Avid but will be cutting a feature on Premiere so I'm trying to figure out what will be the best option... Did you have to add the Titan into the QualifiedGPUBoards

Of course the GPU wouldn't be just for HD/ 2K material... If i can edit the qualifiedgpuboards file then i think maybe a Titan X is more bang for the buck over the K4200 in Media Composer.
