Hi, I have solved the issue, it appears XDCAM clips imported on an Avid6 through up the 'FATAL ERROR' message when trying to transcode them on a V7. XDCAM clips imported on V7 transcode fine on V6, just not the other way around.

Hi, So we have upgraded our machines from 6.5 to 7.0.4. Our workflow involves importing XDCAM 50mbits then transcoding to 10.1. Hi, After testing Avid 7.0.4 for exporting AS-11 file with a start TC of 09:59:30:00 - All is well until VidChecker flags the file as having a start TC of 09:58:00:00. Hi, Thanks for the reply, the thing is Content Agent just adds them, in the settings it states - SD 4 Channels and HD 16 Channels. It is exported from Avid with 4 Channels and CA adds the rest. I'm sure I seen in the User Manual for DPP Metadata tool that HD files require 16 channels, most of which are digital silence. I will try exporting from

Hi, We have been using Content Agent to create our AS-11 file + Metadata. The only issue with CA is that you can't save metadata templates like DPP tool can. So you basically have to start from scratch each time. I have been testing out the DPP tool and I can get it to validate the HD MXF file in every area apart from 'Audio Track Layout'

I have checked every folder in the downloaded folder and there is no Sorenson sofware to be found. Where can I find these education version software?
