Thanks Ralph. This is news to me. I was not made aware of this previously. Was this posted on these forums previously?
Hi Andrew, Thanks for posting this. The Standard support/upgrade entitlement plans have not included phone support since 2018. Prior to that, there was a limitation of 1 call per month for these Standard

Did my yearly contract with Avid get downgraded? I have standard support. I am no longer entitled to get telephone tech support even though I paid a yearly due. It then tells me to pay $40 for an Avid Support Code or ASC. I paid for it, Avid took my money and did not send me a support code or I don't know where it is. I am having trouble starting

Well, I just got off the phone with tech support and got my answer, although it wasn't the answer I was hoping for. Here's what was E-mailed to me. " I was able to check the iPhone clips and it looks like a Catalina file format limitation and is currently not supported by Media Composer in this OS. " If you check the last item of the
Either set your iPhone settings to H264 (the default is HEVC), or transcode it. The best tools are Compressor and Handbrake.
I tried Handbrake, it didn't work. Am I supposed to convert the .mov files in Handbrake in a certain specific way? I'm not using Compressor because there is a $40 charge and I
