How do you Transcode Mixed Format AMA Linked Sequence?

What is the best and fastest way to import/work Canon 60D files in AMC7?

Can I just bring them in as AMA Link files and output the project? I know this sounds silly but, I had to convert them to ProRes to work in FCP7... Do I have to do anything similar in AMC7? I mean, do I have to convert them to ProRes and then bring it in as AMA? I'm using Mac Pro 8 Core / 24GBRAM... (read more)
