How Do I Turn Off The Grid

I turned on the title grid while editing a sequence.  The grid shows only when I scrub the timeline, but not when the video is playing.  Where would I go to turn it off?  It shows on all the clips in the sequence.

    Thanks,

    Denny

    Denny:

Go to the command palette (tools menu). You can map the grid button from there to a button under your sequence monitor, or to the keyboard. You can also go the grid section of your user settings for additional control.

    False alarm . . Sorry

Restarting the program made the title grid disappear.

Re: How Do I Turn Off The Grid

    Hi Larry,

Thanks for the reply.  Is there a key combination that turns on the grid that I might have hit by accident.  My sense was that it was something I turned in the Avid FX title tool.

Re: How Do I Turn Off The Grid

My comments were assuming you were referring to the grid generated by the Composer edit window, not inside Avid FX. If were are talking about the Composer window, perhaps the grid function has been already mapped to the keyboard. To check, when displaying "all settings" in your user profile, double click on "keyboard" to see the current mapped configuration. In any event, mapping the grid function will allow you to turn it on and off. The grid settings in the user profile have additional display options for the grid.

    Thanks Larry,

That clears up several questions that I was going to pose.
