I've searched the forum to no avail. If I missed it, please direct me accordingly, and be kind.
I just replaced my boot drive. I cloned it using Ghost to a larger one. All is well except when I now launch Avid MC 3.5, during "initializing avx effects" it says, "Unable to verify authorization. Please install Boris Continuum Complete from the original distribution CD-ROM."
I uninstalled BCC then re-installed (5.0.3) from the OEM Disk that came with MC.
Error persists. BCC AVX effects are in the pallete and seem to work, but I still get the error which I have to click through 8 times.

This won't help you - sorry - but I recently made an image of my 150 GB system drive and then upgrade the drive to a 300 GB velociraptor, reapplied the image and MC 3.5.1 plus BCC 5.0.4 is just fine.

After reinstalling, I upgraded the BCC 5.0.3 to 5.0.4 and it made no difference. I emailed Boris support. No response. I posted on the Boris forum. Nothing.
Sigh.
Ronn,
I know you are working with our support team now and I know in the past I have seen installs from a disk image be troublesome.
Unfortunatly Boris Support is not 24x7 and e-mails sent on the weekend cannot get answered until Monday/Today. If you feel response times are not adequate feel free to call instaed of waiting for an e-mail response. I assure you we get to everyone and respond to every e-mail.
We're workign in support to find an alternative solution but I'm sure a fresh reinstall of the system as opposed to from a disk image will clear up your issue. We'll keep in touch and let you know what we come up with.
Thanks

Thanks Matt. Jon is most responsive. I'm hopeful now that a solution is at hand.
For future reference folks, here is the solution, courtesy of Jon at Boris Support:
Thanks for sharing Ronn
