    Avid FX and the Black Background Puzzle

    To say the least, I used to get confused and frustrated whenever I tried to use AvidFX to add a preset text effect to a clip.
    It seemed that black backgrounds could crop up at anytime.

    This tutorial is my attempt at clarifying the situation.
    After you have watched it you will:either;

    1. Understand much more about what is going on, or

    2. Be even more confused than you were before you saw the tutorial!

    Let's hope it will be number 1.

    Regards,
    Douglas
