What are the benefits of a Team Subscription?  

 Using the Admin Console assign and unassign feature – you can now easily reallocate licenses from team members not using a seat or are no longer on your team to those that need one.  

 As an Administrator, what can I do within the Admin Console for Team Subscriptions?

• Identify Team administrator's vs normal team members (Admis have the same level of access in the initial release)    
• Assign and unassign users to products licenses (Users receive email notification when assigned)

How do I assign a seats? To assign a seat to a member of your team, go to the Overview Page and click “assign user”. From there simply input the email address of the user you would like to assign. 

How do I unassign a seats? From the Products tab, click on the user you would like to unassign, then click the “unassign user” button to unassign the license. 

Can I buy different plans depending on what my needs are? Yes, you can benefit from the savings of purchasing an annual paid-up front plan, but you can also purchase licenses by the month. 

If I add licenses to a product in my team, will the purchase be prorated to the original term? Yes, if you add licenses to your team after it was created the additional licenses will be prorated to the original term. 

I already manage multiple licenses in my Avid account, can I transition my existing licenses to Team Subscriptions so I can use the admin console?  The initial launch No, current licenses cannot be converted to a team plan

Are you collecting feedback from early adopters of Team Subscriptions? Yes, we are!  On the Overview page within the Admin Console there is a link for “Give Feedback”.   

If I initially purchase a Team Subscription from an authorized Avid reseller, can I purchase additional licenses/seats from my reseller to add to it?  Once you purchased your initial Team Subscription you can add seats to it at any time though the Avid Webstore. Regardless of where you made your initial purchase, those seats will be prorated to your original term.   

Do my team members have to be online to access Avid Team Subscriptions? Yes, Avid Team Subscriptions are cloud-based licenses. This allows the admin full control of the license so it can be unassigned and reassigned as needed.
