I think its about time fluid motion uses hyper-threading.

great effect, but wow is it out dated.

very slow to render.  uses 15% cpu power with my 7940x

I think it's about time all of Avid uses hyper threading... and full advantage of GPUs.

Get in 2019 and leave 1999 behind Avid!

it does fluctuate but this is pretty bad for 2019.

Fluid Morph, avid pan and zoom, sub cap... They should all use hyper-threading.

    Media Composer IS the bottleneck!

I wish the console said what was being rendered so one could identify what renders quickly and what doesnt.

    I have 4.5ghz on 14 cores.

    And avid is selling 16k...

    "Go bigger—without barriers"

    There are barriers for sure.

Perhaps the easiest solution would be for media composer to render multiple clips on timeline simultaneously (user specified, 4, 8, 16, etc).

Like ffmpeg.. I can choose how many clips I want transcoded simultaneously.
