    Type Of Pro Tools

I first purchased Pro Tools Educarional Version at a university bookstore, and could not activate it.  It turned out that someone, probably some bookstore employee, had apparently taken the license code and activated it, then returned everything to the box.

That was the last one they had, so they ordered a new one for me.  However, I found that the new one, instead of being the Educational Version, was an Institutional Version.

Does anyone know how the educational and institutional versions differ?  Or is it just a matter of different names for the same thing?

And by the way, how the heck does someone get authorized to post on other forums here?
