Hello all,
I would like to ask if somebody knows how to avoid "importing" Data track (D1) in AMA linking process.
Yes, I know that I can modify clips in bin (unlink, modify, uncheck D-track and relink back). I do not want to transcode, just consolidate. Isn't there any more neat way?
It all came with "Exception: MXFIndexTableMapper::ReadRange - Unable to read the Index Table from file" error message and necessity to turn off D1 for editing. Later I noticed, that the very same material (MXF clips - XDCAM HD 50Mbits 1080i/50, used AMA plugin - MSP_MXF Plug-In and same behaviour with MVP_MSP_SonyXDCAM_64-bit Plugin) had different behaviour in another project.
Difference was in project format:
In 1080p/25 proj. format D1 is not visible (timeline tracks) and do no errors, in 1080i/50 is visible and comes with message above. The same user settings was used on both projects.
To crown my search-babel I created a new project for testing in which this material is timeline playable in both projects formats (i - D1 visible /p - D1 invisible) without Exception error message.
Any sugestions? :)
