Reimported footage is one frame less than when originally imported across all clips

    UPDATED AND REPLACED TOPIC:

Basically I want to remake my mxf proxies either in DaVinci or in Avid and relink to my current edited sequence however all new proxies I create are one frame less than when I imported at the beginning of the year for no discernible reason. This means I can't relink to the new ones in Avid and DaVinci wont link to the .aaf sequence unless I reimport all of my footage.

The reason I want to relink new proxies is because the footage was previously imported at varying resolutions and some footage provides odd playback issues. We have a new HDD and I wanted to see if reimporting and relinking the footage would help clean up the project. I also wanted to relink to proxies made in DaVinci however this timecode change prevents me from relinking to either Avid or DaVinci proxies.

Can anyone explain why this has happened? I've never seen this happen before.

Re: Relinking old Avid MC Proxies with DaVinci Proxies

    UPDATE:

If I add the new imported clip (with -1 frame) onto the end of my Avid sequence, export an AAF and then open that link in DaVinci, it links automatically to that one clip while every other clip in the sequence refuses to link.

If I can't find a solution to this I may have to reimport, rename, resync and slowly match frame all of my edits back into a new sequence... Help!
