I work a lot with police shows and the likes and there's always a LOT of blurring to do. People, license plates, door numbers... Avid's tracking is not great and I would love to see something along the lines of Resolve's tracking capabilities in Avid. Until then, however, a simple feature request: Backwards tracking. A button to the left of the current "start tracking" button pointing backwards, that lets you start from the end of a clip/effect, tracking backwards. This would be extremely useful for objects that enter the frame halfway into a clip and stay there until the end of it!
BCC Witness protection, always and forever ...

Baselight Editions has a great tracker & blur - plus you get a fantastic colour corrector thrown in for free.

Hadn´t thought about using Baselight for that Trevor, old habits, seems like I have too many tools in my box right now.
Thank a lot for the tip, needs to be examined.
