Hi everybody
I wanted to integrate the AVX SDK for visual studio 2010. Normally to install the Wizard I just have to copy the Avx2Wiz.awx file into my local ...\Microsoft Visual Studio\Common\MSDev98\Template directory.
Unfortunately there are exist only the directories ...\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE\Templates and ...\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\Tools\Templates. I've tried to copy the file in these folders but it doesn't work. To create the compatible directory also doesn't worked.
I tried following the quick start guide (http://developer.avid.com/), but it seems outdated. I installed Visual Studio 6.0 (2003) and it worked fairly. But I would like to work with Visual Studio 2005 or later, I would prefer Visual Studio 2010. The version of 2003 is absolutely no standard of today's technology.
Thx.
Theres also a file named Avid sdk 2.3. Is that the same even a later version?
If I can use Avd SDK 2.3 version with the same features, is therefor a quick start guide available?
Anybody outthere who can help? :/

Did you obtain the AVX developer kit from Avid?

Send me your inormation on the issue via email and I will route this to the correct place. Make sure you have signed up for the AVX program first though.
