    Dynamic Media Folders (process hangs)

    When I turn on background services, "AvidDMFSupportSvc" attempts to launch and its icon bounces in the dock...however the process hangs.  Though the other background transcoding services continue to run, Dynamic Media Folders do not function.

    Troubleshooting already tried:

    reinstalled MC7

    reinstalled Java

    clean install of MacOSX 10.8.4 with a reinstall of MC 7 again.

     

    System Specs

     

    MacPro 3,1  8 core x 2.8ghz

    24 GB RAM

    Aja Kona 3

    Mac OSX 10.8.4

    Avid MC 7
