Howdy, have Version 5 on my system which came with MC4, Have MC 5.52 now did we get a free upgrade at all recently for Sorenson as notice its now version 7?

MC5.5 box set I got in May contained Squeeze 6 (with a free upgrade downlaod to 6.5  from the Sorenson Website).

The Production Suite that ships with MC 5.5.x comes with:

Boris Continuum Complete v7 Universal Mac and Windows, Sorenson Squeeze v6.0.4 Universal Mac and PC, Avid FX v5.8.2 Universal Mac and Windows , Avid DVD by Sonic v6.1.1 for PC, SmartSound Sonicfire Pro v5.5.2 Universal Mac and PC.

BTW - These third party app's are included in all new copies of Avid Media Composer, Avid Symphony and Avid NewsCutter, as well as physical shipping upgrades.

For registered Sorenson customers there should be a free upgrade to Squeeze 6.5 so when the bundle is installed just register and upgrade

Last week, I called Sorenson and purchased an upgrade to Version 7 at the "Avid price"  of $179.  If you already have the other programs in the productivity pack, you can get Version 7 for less than buying a new version of the entire productivity pack (which will only give you Squeeze 6.5).
