    AMA source settings (for RED) not applying to clips already in sequence

    I'm currently doing an offline edit with RED bought in via AMA, transcoded to DNxHD for cutting, then relinking back to the AMA source for the grade.

    The problem I've hit is, once I've relinked back to the RED files, that any changes I try to make to the Source Settings of the RED files (such as colour temperature) won't apply to clips already in a sequence.

    My sequence is definitely pointing back to the source RED files, not the DNxHD media.

    I've tried running the relink *after* changing the source settings, but that doesn't seem to work either, I just get the RED footage in the state it was when I initially transcoded it.

    If I manually replace a shot from the source RED file, the adjustments are there.

    Any ideas? Am I missing something obvious?

    I'm using MC 5.5.1 with the latest version of the RED AMA plugin.

    Ah ha! Found it.

    Clip->Refresh Sequence->Source Settings.

    Will leave this thread here for other muppets like me to find ;)

    Hi,

    well, I would be another muppet!! I have a question, I can't seem to find to set back to default what I did to the RED footage. I was playing around with it, but don't know how to get it back to original settings ;( Do you know?

    Cheerio
