    I'm struggling with a workflow............

It was oh so easy in Liquid but I must adapt, but what to do?

Working with .jpg showing photo of a person aged 5 and aged 15 which applying a transition will show 'as she was' transitioning to 'as she is'

In Liquid, I would put old photo on V1 with new photo in V2 with a slight overlap, on V2 apply a 2d effect with 50% transparency, zoom in or out so that the eyes (and space between the eyes) overlap, then move V2 down down to V1, remove transparency and apply a transition between the clips so that the finished article showed the old photo becoming the new photo, but I don't know how!!!!!

    Hi,

To duplicate that workflow, here's what I'd do:

    1. Old photo on V1, new photo on V2.

    2. 3d Warp effect on V2.

    3. Adjust Foreground parameter to 50% for transparency.

    4. Adjust X, Y and Z in Position parameter until eyes overlap.

    5. Move V2 clip to V1, remove 3d Warp, apply transition.

    Hope that helps!

    ciao,

    Carl

    Alan,

I am just doing a video tutorial for you now!
It will be online in about 30 - 45 minutes.

It has a slightly different approach to doing this.
    Maybe an easier one!

    Hang on a bit more,

    Regards,
    Douglas
