    Make a sequence of sequences

In Liquid, I often created short sequences and completely edited each one, then strung these together to form a single final sequence.  This worked very well, except each short sequence carried with it, into the final sequence, a very long tail of black filler.  This tail, of course, had to be deleted which needed to be carefully done, thereby being a nuisance.  If a similar procedure of "Seq of Seqs" is created in MC are there any quirks such as this?  (I am traveling and am unable to test this for myself.)  Thanks for any info.

Re: Make a sequence of sequences

In MC you can drag any sequence into the source monitor and use it as you would any other clip.  Set your ins and outs and edit it into your "sequence of sequences" and you're good to go.

You can load any Sequence into the Source monitor, Mark In/Outs and activate tracks just as you would for any other Source.  Then you can cut it into whichever "Master" sequence you like.

The very long tail of black filler in Liquid can be avoided by setting an Out-Mark at the end of the sequences.
