Mapping the Keyboard for Zoom in/out of the Timeline

I took quite a long time before I realised that you can, not only map keys to your keyboard, but also Commands.

I got an email from Tim in Australia asking me about a problem he was trying to solve in MC.
Before I had a chance to try and help he had already figured things out for himself.

Here is what he taught me.

Now you too can use the idea!

    Regards,
    Douglas

    Hi Douglas!

It took me 5 months to figure this out! after I emailed you, I was in the command pallette & I thought I would just have a play with the 'menu to button reassignment' took me awhile before I finally got it! great to see you put up a video for it sometimes the Avid tutorials brush over the simple stuff if your coming from another NLE!

    Tim.

    5 MONTHS????!!!!

Google:  "avid, using up and down arrows to zoom in and out" returned a great number of results in .31 seconds

and again most of the results were dated from Oct 2008 or so.  (right about the time that XpressPro was killed if I remember correctly and many people were upgrading)
