AudioSuite is NOT recognizing the appropriate drive to render to.

AudioSuite is NOT recognizing the appropriate drive to render to.  In this case, an interplay drive.

All other Avid material and functions are accessing the correct drive.  The audio suite is the only that does not see the drive.

    Any thoughts?

I've seen this behaviour with plain ISIS too. Audiosuite points to C: drive on reboot - disregarding media creation settings. Pretty annoying in IP environment though if you don't notice it... media is offline to other users.

There is a patch to fix this problem from Avid.  Can try and find info should anyone be interest in it.  My patch will go in shortly.

However,  a work around I have found is to have audio suite closed upon entering avid.  Once in a project launch Audio Suite and then it should connect correctly.
