    Layering Effects Causes Error

I'm trying to apply two layers of effects -- v1.MagicBullet Looks, v2.BCC FilmDamage. I also tried nesting them together.

Preview (scrub) is ok but when I start rendering them, I get this error [attached] and Avid will crash.

    Any ideas?

Hard to say exactly what it is but I suspect the problem is related to either the foreground or background layer.  Have you tried another part of your timeline as a test?  MC comes with Illusion FX preinstalled.  There is a aged film look bundled in this package.  Instead of trying the Boris CC version, try the Illusion FX instead.
