Hi all,
I am looking at changing from Avid Liquid to Avid Composer 3 and know that the Quadro cards are recommended. However, looking at some of the specs of forum members there seem to be at least one person using the GeForce GTX 260. As this is the card I have at present, it would certainly make my decision easier if I bcould get it to work.
Any comments would be great
Thanks All
The 14 days trial of MC soft is available for downloading for free, give it a try and tell us what happens, you have nothing to loose.

I'd be interested in hearing your experiences as well. If you do try it, the following thread may be helpful to you:

This thread outlines the various tricks used to get Geforce cards to work with Avid. Note that I'm using a Geforce 8800 GTS 512 with XP, and the "Turn off threaded optimization" method (which is the easiest method to use) worked for me.

I'm using the GTX 260. Had to turn off the threaded optimizations for MC in the Nvidia control panel. No problems so far, other then some difficulties getting a few of the Boris filters to use the hardware for OpenGL.
Apparently you might not even need to do that if you're using MC 3.5.

Not to hi-jack the thread but what kind of issues are you seeing with the Boris filters and this card...can you post screen shots?
