I have a tracking shot that sways up and down just a little bit. I have tried both stabilize and region stabilize effect, but neither seem to be very adept on tracking shots, the auto zoom either goes way too far in, or the tracker ends up pushing out half the picture. If anyone knows good technique on stabilizing a medium-speed tracking to the left shot, please let me know.

Hi Maghranimal!
Try activating the steady glide button on the tracker. that might help you.

also if you are on MC 3.5 try using the Fluid Stabilizer with steady glide.
Thanks guys, I appreciate the help. It definitely helped out.

Is there a trick to getting the stabilized image to auto crop? Region stabilize has this feature and I can't figure out how to do it with the "Stabilize" effect using FluidStabilizer and Steadyglide. Any suggestions?
I'm not sure if you can do it with the stabilize image or not. I'm also not at my avid to check or search around sorry. The only thing can think of as a possible suggestion would be using the stabilize effect with fruidstabilizer/steady glide and then nest in the region stabilize with auto zoom. Someone else probably has a better idea, I'm not near my avid. Hope it works out.
