    Problem when capturing from Canon XLHI 50 Camera

    Hi, I'm using MC 2.8 with Mojo SDI on HP XW8600. And when I capture from Canon XLHI 50 camera sometimes I get an error message

    Exception: ADM_DIO_ERROR_OCCURRED, DIOerr:PMDIOParserHelper:: Parse - error occurred in parser ParserOutputGOPBufferRep::CalculateTimecodeFromGOPTimecode - timecode of last gop's timecode is reserved\devices\digitalio\Pyromaniac\PMPIO Tester\MPEGPerser\PerserOutputGOPBuffer.cpp

    And then I will lose connection with the camera and have to reset it again in Deck Configuration.

    Please help. Thanks.

    I have had problems capturing from this camera as well, here's what I've found out: You have to set the camera output mode before connecting it to the computer, if You happen to switch it off You'll have to set it again as at power up it goes to a default configuration that may not match Your Avid project; once in Avid You have to manually select the proper deck configuration. I hope this helps.

    We did that. But the thing is it lost the connection to the camera during capturing. I tried to find if there's any limitation working with this camera. But can't find anything useful on the Knowledge Base.

    But thanks anyway.  Smile

    I got it working on MC 3.0.5 and I notice You're on 2.8.
