I'm doing a project in 24p using DVCProHD (P2) and every time I do a render of a boris efx, I get jagged edges (aliasing) in my video.  when the effect is not rendered everything looks fine.  When,rendered, I get the edges. 

I should say that the footage is NFL Films game footage.  It was shot on film and then transfered to 30i.  Any help?

 R U using Boris BCC or RED? If so what filter?

I'm using BCC and using Film Damage and Glow

BCC's DVE is piss poor on doing pushes/pulls on an image, but the otherwise filters tend to be OK. Check the rendering settings in effects palate, like "quick" vs "best". If it looked OK before you put a filter on it, I'd assume it's something wrong with the effects settings, or the filter doesn't like the film's pull-down. If so, I wonder if you made a QT Ref file, and brought it in and applied the effect if it would help. Otherwise I'm no help. Good luck.
