I'm still on 2.5.3.

Has anyone found a good preset for this deck? Batch capture is ok, but the jog in the capture tool "overshoots" alot. I'm using the DSR-1500 preset right now.

Any recommendation is welcome

 R U using Firewire or RS-422. I use the standard BVW-75 driver (using RS-422) and it works great, but one would think the DSR-1500 driver would work.

Yes, I am controlling the deck via RS422 and capturing over SDI. I'll try the BVW-75 preset.

I use the HVR 1500 setting and only very occassionally get an overshoot. There is a shuttle speed setting in the HVR menu that needs to be set to the slowest. Mine is batch capturing at present so I cannot check the setting I am using.

I reset the shuttle speed on the deck and switched to the BVW-75 preset and it's working ok. (I won't say it's "working great" since HDV is quite a pain to jog)
