These new unintuitive bins/containers - help!

I open a different small project today and i get yesterdays big multicam project look complete with its renamed empty containers and a floating bin of todays project's tabbed bin between yesterdays empty panels.

Why do I have a look from an irrelevant different project in my basic project opening screen?

I found I was having to save yesterdays project layout in a workspace or keep rearranging the bins all day long as I switch edit/effect/CC modes.  Is this look now tied for life to my basic "edit" workspace?

Can I do anthing differently as I simply want each project to have its own look and not have greyed out carry over containers/panels from other projects.  Like it used to be - it save your layout on completion ready for teh next session.  This is just a baffling mess - only been using Avid 20 years mind!

Did you reset the basic workspace to its default?  Start there.

Thanks Rob - any  input is valuable!

Reset the basic workspace to default per project then, every new project?

Then I have to re set my audio/colour correct/effect workspace per project and its bin/container layout?  But then these carry over the bin/tab/container layout across ALL projects as they are edit/colour/effect WORKSPACES not historically at all about bin layouts?

Happy to be educated but this looks like utter mess and chaos to me... It cant be though - it must be me. How can I learn/work this? Should be FAR easier!

create a custom workspace for each project....delete them when you are done or save them
