Hi,

I am trying to install mc 8.5.2 on my computer.  I had it and it was operational.  One day it stopped and required a llicense or dongle.  I have a prepetual license. 

I've been working with AVID to  get new software on my computer.  They have done that. However, it won't install.

I've tried turning off all fire walls and that didn't work either.

I recieve this error 1309.Error reading from file. 

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Sounds like an installer file path limit issue.

make sure your installer zip file is at the root level of the drive. And copy the files in the installer to a folder (with a short name) again at the root level of the drive. then run the install from there.
