Hi All.I am wondering if it is possible to create multiple subclips of masterclips in a bin? Like a magical "select all and make subclips" button or work-around.
I found this thread which seems interesting, but since the original post Avid have changed the options for import. But perhaps there is another way of doing the same thing now?

Thanks,

Why do you need subclips rather than Master clips?

Hi Pat.
I need to keep the original filename in order for onlining to go smooth. I like to have my clips renamed to Scene - Slate - Take, and if I change the clip name the filename information will be lost. If I subclip it I can always matchframe back to the original clip. Makes sense?
That same method still exists. File-Import-Import Media -- still allows you to import ShotLog (ALE) files. Not really media, I know...
