    Audio Tool Suggestions...

A dynamically resizing audio tool would complement the recent audio mixer's UI update.

The ability to choose which channels the audio tool displays would also be nice.

Which, I kid you not, we used to have between 1997 and 2010.

That would have been what, around Media composer 3.0 and 4.0? - My guess is they removed it in 5.0 but why?

We don't ask why. We just bow our heads and...

    Haha just kidding.

For MC5, the desing team needed to kill a lot of the old-school skeuomorphic designs in order to get the interface to behave snappier. Color coding of the interface skinning went away. Button shading went away. Lots of things that people still miss, but also a lot of goofy stuff that isn't missed.

Part of that whole redesign also required a new thinking for how bins and tools and windoes interacted. The Audio Tool's resizing was indeed an unfortunate side effect.

    It's well-known by the team.

MC5 was my educated guess, TY for explaining.
