When I clone something, I may have the right texture but the wrong lighting or hue etc. I want very badly to be able to do basic HSL adjustments to the content of the clone.
For example I clone a bush and want to cover a camera person standing in front of another part of the bush. The leaves are the same but the sun is falling differently on the only section I'm able to clone from. I want to be able to clone that section then mess with the luma and hue and saturation to match it more closely to the section I'm covering.
Basic adjustments like this would save time having to use animatte and colour correct things and speed up painting objects out of frame.
Secondly, we need an option to be able to rotate the content of the clone - not just the shape as is currently the case. The content of the clone should be functioning as an entirely seperate object and needs to be able to be manipulated as one.

Agreed. These improvements would be very welcome.
