Hi all,

I'm thinking of buying Mocha plugin for AVid so i don't have to keep jumping out to After Effects. 

There seems to be a couple of options online; Mocha 2020 on the Avid website and Mocha 2021 on the Boris website... are they essentially the same software jst Mocha 2021 is the most recent update?

Out of curiosity, how do you intend to use Mocha Pro within Media Composer (i.e., what features of Mocha Pro do you use in After Effects)?

You should be able to run a trial mode of Mocha Pro in Media Composer just to make sure it does everything you need.

Buy it from Boris not Avid. Might as well go to the source. I have it and love it, use it a lot for stabilising things Avid can't, use it a LOT for it's integration with the Witness protection Continuum plugin effect - it's tracking is soooo much smoother than Avids and the results are far, far better. I also think, if you can put the time in to learn it, the remove module is close to magic. Combined with some basic photoshop you can remove things that you could only dream of removing in MC. If you're doing any sort of onlining then it is very worth it.
