    Blackmagic Hardware No Longer Working

Has anyone else had their Blackmagic box stop working?  I can no longer use it for either Avid or Adobe.

I'm still using W10 1903 on my editing system, and the BM Intensity card still works. I don't recommend upgrading to W10 2004 at the moment (there are some known issues which may or may not crop up).

Yeah, it's still not working for me.

I don't know, but I would imagine that most people who get paid to edit don't have any personal control over what version of Windows they use, unless they also work in the  IT department.  Avid needs to sort that sh*t out.  There's no excuse in 2020 for any software to not be compatible with Windows updates.  Every other editing software is able to do this.

You said it wqasn't working for Adobe or Avid so if its an update thats caused the issue its affected both softwares.

Does the BM control panel see the hardware and allow you to access it? Does the BM express software access the hardware?

Have you tried re-installing the BM drivers?

Re: Blackmagic Hardware No Longer Working

That is a very fair point.  I can control and record using the BM software. Just not MC.  Haven't tried Adobe since last week.  Right now, my priority is finishing a project, but I'll have to sort this out afterward.

I appreciate you pointing out my flawed logic though.  You're right about it affecting both.
