Keyboard shortcuts to cut and paste clips between bins.

This feels like a ridiculously dumb question after using avid for so many years, but I can't seem to find keyboard commands for cutting and pasting clips betwen bins -- i.e. the keyboard equivalent to dragging and dropping clips between bins.  I've always just dragged and dropped before, but I'm working on a project that requires moving clips between bins a lot, and it's really striking me that a keyboard command way of doing this would be much easier.  Normal "cut" and "paste" keyboard commands are not working, and none of the keyboard shortcut documents that I can find for avid list this.

Am I just missing something obvious, or is this ability conspicuously missing in avid?  Dragging and dropping requires that both bins are open and visible, which is a pain when working with lot of bins that are in the same spot.

Note that for other reasons, I'm not working with docked bins.

    Thanks,

    Larry
