    Loading seqs in left-hand monitor

Just checking there isn't yet a way to set a given sequence to always load into the l/h monitor, by default? I'm sure lots of us have sequences we only use as sources - it'd be nice not to have to drag them each time.

Just noticed this notion came up in a previous post - from 2011. Do tell me that 8 years later it's possible...

That 8 year old thread is a perfect encapsulation of what would be a great feature.

I.e. command modifier and/or metadata flag that means sequence loads to sourcemonitor and the ability to match frame back to the selects sequences

ALt + double click (on Win) loads a sequence in the source monitor.

In single monitor mode, it opens a new monitor window.

Re: Loading seqs in left-hand monitor

I’m not plagued by this, since I tend to use a mouse. What bothers me more is the amount of time it takes to load a long Sequence in Source Monitor (v8.8.4 HPz PC 16GB Ram).

and Alt+Double click Sequence is often good enough. But we certainly won’t complain if this shows up in a future version.

As a related aside, I’d like to be able to Match frame from the Timeline into a small Pop-up Monitor - so I. can keep my Source Monitor too-loaded in Source Monitor with its source Sequence, Groupclip or whatever... that would be very helpful, save time, etc.
