Everytime after I have been playing a clip in the Source Monitor, the error below is automaticly added to the Console window.
LegendHWbufferMgr::DumpBuffersInUse(): Dump disabled since it may take forever. Rebuild the code if needed.
HagridBufferWrprMgr::DumpInUseBufferWrappers(): Dump disabled since it may take forever. Rebuild the code if needed.
Any ideas where this is coming from? It looks like this happening since I installed 2018.10.
Thanks in advanced!
Ivan
Got DX hardware on that system? If so, did you install the DX driver with 2018.10? It's no longer part of the default installation and must be installed separately.
Must think of something clever to go here...
Hi hbrock,
Yes, I have a Nitris DX on that system. The latest DX driver was installed together with the installation 2018.10.
I could re-install it, and see what the result is.
Thanks!
Any luck with a re-install? If not see if disabling the DX hardware makes the problem go away. Then re-install "the version that used to work" and see if that still works with the DX hardware enabled. Trying to help determine if the problem is software (MC version) or hardware (your DX box).
And what kind of clip are you trying to play back?

I didn't manage to do a re-install because of time issues. Disabling the Nitris DX hardware makes indeed the problem go away. I had no problem with any other versions out of the past. It only happens since I installed 2018.10. I can only go back to version 2018.9 because I had to buy a new annual subscription in september, making the older versions from 8.0 on dissapear. With 2018.9 I had a problem with the DMF Service, so I can't go back.
Hi Kevin,
The footage that I am playing back is AVCHD (*.m2ts) that has been transcoded to DNxHD 120 (HD1080i). I did't have the time yet to test some other formats.
Older versions should still work. Your license should allow you to use any version released before the license expires.

Now I am confused. Do you mean that if someone buys a brandnew license today (2018.10), she or he also can install any older version, for example 2018.2?
CineMatica,
It really depends on whether you have a dongle or SW activation. This explains it here:

Hope that helps

As of today, we are experiencing this same error playing XDCam50 material in a simple sequence.
One video track, comprised of XDCam50 in group clips
Two audio tracks, from same source.
Error is repeating every so often, though does not occur when replaying same section of sequence over again.
