    What Nvidia driver for OSX?

    Hello,

In the version matrix the listed Nvidia drivers only link for windows. It would be very helpful to link the proper nvidia driver for Mac as well. Which one should we use for 10.13.5 / 2018.7.1?

    Thanks

    Bruce

The editing application supports Nvidia Driver v390.77.

Unless you have a Quadro 4000 graphics card which should then remain on the Nvidia v353.82 driver

ReadMe has this and I will ask one of the team to update the chart with mac

    Hi Marianna,

I can only find 387.10 for osx.

This seems to be the latest driver available.

I don't see the version matrix updated with any information regarding osx drivers and where to find the certified driver

    for mac?

Please direct me to where to get the proper driver please.

I am experiencing hard crashes quite often and I want to make sure I have the certified configuration.

    Thanks

    BUMP

I've got a system in my shop that's an IMac (27-inch, Late 2013) with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M and the latest nvidia drivers are not working properly.

I've scoured the compatibility matrix, and there's NOTHING that corresponds to mac OS.

    Marianna?

    UPDATE:

I also have an identical iMac but with Mac OS 10.13.1 w/ the 378.10.10.20.109 Nvidia drivers and that works as it should...so... is it an nvidia problem? is it a mac securtiy update problem?

    Hmmm...

Are you using a third party GPU? Avid supports the OS X native drivers. No need to change unless you need it for non-native Mac GPUs or third party apps.

The correct version of Nvidia drivers depends on your "System Version". About This Mac -> System Report ->  Software -> System Report.

Pay close to the info in the parentheses. Google "Nvidia drivers X" where X is that info.

Although "my" daily machine is indeed a Hackintosh, we have several other AVID systems in the building, two of which are late 2013 iMac 27" with the upgraded nVidia 780M internal graphics card. I realize I'm SOL with the hackintosh, but:

The iMac with High Sierra 10.13.6 (latest) is having problems with AVID, the iMac with 10.13.1 is not. Neither one has the nVidia drivers installed since their internal cards are apple "native."
