Hi all,
We're having a number of occurances of our team members seeing the following error:
Our NEXIS is running 18.6.1.14 and all our clients are also up to date. All are Mac users running High Sierra with Media Composer 2018.5.
Running a path diag from every machine is showing averages over 100mb/s.
We can temporarily alleviate the issue by deleting the bay folders on the NEXIS, but it does return.
It is affecting two teams who are working off different workspaces from each other. I can't see any issues in the NEXIS logs itself. In the past when I've see the delayed write failure issue, our older ISIS would show a network degraded warning (usually due to a bad connection), but the NEXIS has no log notes that I can see around the affected teims. This started last night and has been plaguing us all day today.
Any suggestions would be helpful!
Thanks
Extremely large projects are susceptible to the SearchDB being corrupted.
Try reducing the number of bins per project.

We'll take a look at that, however, these projects aren't any larger then anything we've been dealing with in the past. Each episode is isolated in it's own project too.
Try setting the Search DB to the local. We had the same issue and that fixed it.

Thanks I'll give it a shot. This needs to be done manually for each user and each project they open correct? It's not a user setting that will move project to project?
I think you have to do it for every project.
