Red Files look blue after Linking.

Hello! I just linked footage that was shot on an Epic Dragon; 4K. When I linked the footage I noticed that it looks BLUE! That is right BLUE! I don't know what could have caused this. I opened the source settings inside avid and the footage looks ok, but it still looks blue on the Source monitor.

I also tried transcoding inside RedCine X, then imported the ALE file into Media Composer then copied and pasted the MXF folder on the AvidMediaFiles folder and relinked the masterclip to the MXF file and it also didn't work.

The footage looks great inside Red Cine X. The footage only looks blue when I import or link the footage into avid.

I need help please! I don't know what the issue could be.

Have you updated to 2018.5? Do You have a GTX display card?
If so it is a known bug in 2018.5 and it only affects the computer displays. Output to a client monitor is not affected.

This forum thread will detail others experiences with the issue.

Basically reinstalling 2018.4 will solve the issue.  Or deselecting the Dual Copy Engine option in MC's Video Display settings should work though it has not worked for everybody.

    Exactly as Andrew stated.

This is a new regression issue with 2018.5 on a variety of cards that we’re NOT qualifying officially, but yet we’ve opened up our GPU support to “ANY’ cards that meets minimum requirements.  So thats why this isnt working.

OMG!!!!!! Thank you so much!! I don't have enough words to thank you!! I have been trying to solve this for two days in a row!! THANK YOU!!!!!

I deselected the Dual Copy Engine option and the footage looks ok now!! What does that setting do? Would it impact my editing in a negative way?
