Hello,
I have a problem regarding the FrameFlex settings.
I'am editing a feature film with a MediaComposer 2018.3. I used to crop all my material with FrameFlex from 16:9 to Scope. Now I'm suddenly not able to do it anymore. Attached you will find a picture of the problem.
I can still "strech" or "center crop" my material, but with "Pillarbox/Letterbox" nothing happens. I already tried to change the settings to my master clips. It didn't help.
Does anyone know this problem?
Thank you!
Hi Jim,
you haven't attached anything or I can't see it.
However there is a thread about some problems with Frameflex somewhere around the PC Forum.

It is probably an issue with the new feature "Freely Resize Composer Window", which creates wrong display formats in certain projects, e.g. PAL project. It may well be in other non-standard formats the same issue. Uncheck the Freely Resize Feature in MC settings "Composer". May be it helps.

Please forget about this comment. This will be a coming feature and is not part of MC 2018.3.

Having the same problem here both on Windows 10 and High Sierra running 2018.4. Think it startet on 2018, but might even have been a version or two earlier.
I rolled back to MC 8.8.5
