Conclusion: the result of turning off 'email me replies' and logging in again has not resulted in me being emailed replies.

As you may have gathered, I gave the web renewal method one more chance to see if Arvato would send out a VAT receipt. No joy. I even wrote to Arvato (.de) and specifically asked them. They didn't even bother to reply. So here I am stuck with no receipt.
If something can't be done to resolve this, then next year, I won't be renewing Avid via the web. Any other software, yes, but Avid online renewal simply isn't straightforward and causes too much wasted time.
Regarding the 'email me replies'. I followed your advice, but still no joy. I will let you know if it suddenly starts working again. In the meantime, apologies if I don't reply faster - I simply have no idea if anyone has responded to the forum.

That said, I don't particularly like it either. My renewals I tend to do via a local VAT, as they are keen on being of service, and have warned me about plans about to expire.
If I weren't so keen on being a faithful customer to my local VAR, I would definitely have bought my annual renewals through Videoguys. Have some good experience with them, they are cheaper than the Avid store, and even cheaper depending on the exchange rate you get from your Credit card company. On top of this, they ran a 5% discount code. Hard to beat.

You might like to know I have been chasing Arvato for a receipt (again) this year. This was the reply:
"Dear Sir, Thank you for your message. We do not support avid anymore. Please continue to apply: https://shop.avid.com/cc_avid_ContactUs"
email me dirctly and include what you need .... I will handle it for you and see why this happened and fix it.

I had my support on auto renew, but I jsut checked it and noticed that my support expired back in October because I hadn't looked at it in a while. Now I can't seem to renew my plan. Is there any way that we can fix this? I know for a fact that I had it set to auto renew, so I never even though about it.

As you can see from this thread, I have been trying to test if the auto email reponse to this forum/topic is now working. I have not been able to see any replies for a long time. They are not going to my spam folder. Could you maybe reply to this, so that I can see whether it is now back up and running...? Thanks.
Re Avid renewal: I have (and am still having) a nightmare trying to extrcate myself the Avid Webstore renewal debacle this year. I have decided (on advice from Job ter Burg) to switch to going through a reseller. I have been told I can do it via support, and Marianna was chasing it at one point, but it all seems to have gone quiet again. I have given them all the information they asked for (somebody called Pinky, I believe), but I have had no acknowledgement since. The result is that I still have no proper VAT receipt. Any chance you can remind the Webstore of my case? It would be much appreciated.
