    Render Glitches

Hi All, I am doing a project where in some parts of the timeline I have some effects and video stacked four levels deep. On some of these sections I am getting a red line on the TC1 layer and it isn't playing back in real time. So I have been rendering that section and the second problem happens. The rendered part has a flash frame or even a partial image from a completely different piece of video. These flash frames need to be rerendered in order to fix the problem. they are hard to notice at first and so the video is going out with these flash frames that are getting flagged by other people.

    What is going on here!

    Thanks,

    Re: Render Glitches

There is a render bug. To fix, disable GPU rendering (settings->render settings->disable GPU effects. See this thread for more info: http://community.avid.com/forums/t/179757.aspx.

Thank you! I have now read the whole thread and am up to speed. I took a lot of heat at work like it was my fault, so I am glad its a known issue.
