    nablet XAVC XDCAM

I uninstalled Sony PDZK-MA2 Plugin (no longer present in System/Programs & Features) and wanted to install nablet XAVC XDCAM P4.0.2 Plugin. A message says "uninstall PDZK-MA2".

I wanted to go back to my original PDZK-MA2 v3.51, but then again the same message "uninstall PDZK-MA2" appeared.

How can I solve this problem?

    Roland,

You need to install the last version which I believe you indicated as 3.5.1 as there must be something still left there. You need to uninstall all previous AMA plugin, prior to installing any updated AMA plugin.

The nablet plug-ins and the legacy Sony plug-ins cannot coexist on the same system. Having them both installed will result in unpredictable behaviors of the editing application and issues such as this.

what I woud do is reinstall the sony and then uninstall again just to make sure.  Then install nablet only

    Hi Roland,

    look at this thread: http://community.avid.com/forums/p/161060/837773.aspx#837773

There was a solution deleting a folder at: C:\Program Files\Avid\AVX2_Plug-ins\AMA

    Hi Marianna and Florian

Thank you both for your help. It solved my problem.

After unstalling PDKZ-MA2 a message said "uninstall not complete, you can do it manually". What "manually" means is explained in Florian's link http://community.avid.com/forums/p/161060/837773.aspx#837773, where Marianna describes how to delete the XDSDeck folder from C:\Program Files\Avid\AVX2_Plug-ins\AMA.
