How Do I Save an Audio Suite Effect

I've got an interview with very low levels, so low that pushing the mixer up to peak is not sufficient. So I applied the Gain plugin in Audiosuite and set a level I liked. I'd like to keep a copy of this adjusted Gain effect to apply in other instances. But dragging the plugin icon from the Audiosuite window to a bin—as I would do from the Effects Tool to save a video effect— seems to save a Gain effect, but at its default level rather than at the higher level I was working with.

Is this a bug, something simply left out thus far or am I doing it wrong?

Yeah, I keep getting Gain, but only at 100% even though I set it to 800%.
