Restoring deleted files from Avid ISIS 5000

    Hi,

Is there a good method of restoring accidentially deleted and trashed files? Folder was deleted and trashed from Avid's Volume while using osx Yosemite, Avid ISIS server is set up Windows.

    Thanks,

It's pretty easy. Just pull the missing files from your backup and put them back into the correct folders and delete the media database so it'll rebuild cleanly. If it's a lot of files I'd use rsync. I am presuming of course that you do have a backup system in place.

ISIS file system does not support trash/recycle bin. It is deleted permanently.
