    ECHEC de la désactivation : Response is out of order with previous responses

    Hi,

    This morning I started MC and he asked me to activate it on (?). Because it is already activated.

    I have a problem: I can not desactivate MC from Application Manager. Whenever MC responds:
    "ECHEC de la désactivation : Response is out of order with previous responses"

    And i can't start it.

    MC expire 06/10/2016 (06 october 2016)


    Someone can help me ?

    I progress :

    I followed what's on this page (for PC)
    http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/how_to/Media-Composer-Software-Support-Contract-License-Update#SWL

    1) Quit out of the AvidApplicationManager and AvidAppManHelper processes in Task Manager (Win) or Activity Monitor (Mac).
    2) Delete the following folder - C:\ProgramData\Avid\Licenses ("show hidden files" in folder options if not seen)
    3) Launch BOTH Application Manager Helper and Application Manager in that order (see locations below) and navigate to the Licensing tab. Note Media Composer will no longer show as activated.
    Windows:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Avid\Application Manager\ AvidAppManHelper.exe
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Avid\Application Manager\ AvidApplicationManager.exe

    Now I could reactivate AVID but still no symphony. The response to activation is:
    Activation Failed: 101 20062 activation failed: add-on "No license" can not-have more copies Assigned Then total available.


    Yet in my account I:
    Standard Support: Active
    Period: October 7, 2014 - in - October 6, 2016

    Someone can help me ?

      Media Composer is activated before and then all of a sudden it asked you to activate?

    Hello jcfrance,

    I have the same problem. When strating MC i get the electronic activation pop up - but my MC is activated! Now I can not deactivate it because of the error: "Response is out of order with previous responses". 

     

    What was the fix for this problem? Can you please post me the fix?
